The 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Accredited Online Teacher Training Course will teach you:

Taking and teaching Vinyasa Flow Classes. In each virtual session you will  begins with a yoga class video, with our outstanding staff of instructors, that will enhance your yoga knowledge, poses, and flows. Our online classes is  a great way to set the state for an exciting session of learning ahead.

Meditation.  Learn various meditation techniques throughout the training and create the habit of daily meditation and practice forever.

Yoga Philosophy and History. Dive deep into yoga philosophy and historical perspectives in our fun and engaging online learning environment.

Anatomy and physiology. An in-depth learning experience on the anatomy of the body and its relation to yoga poses. Having a better understanding of anatomy will enhance your teaching ability.

Pranayama. Learn about the breath and various forms of breathing we use in yoga.

Assisting. Through the training, trainees will learn hands on assisting of students. Learn how “to see” your students and provide proper verbal and hands on assists and coaching.

Coaching. Learn the skills to become a fabulous yoga teacher, coach, and leader. Learn inclusive language techniques to ensure successful experiences for all participants.

Music. We can help and guide you in  creating the playlists and music that are best for you and your classes. This portion of the training is a game changer as you will understand how music works, how to create amazing playlists, and heighten the experience of your students, with your music choices, as well as the flow of your music.  Lot’s of one on one discussion will help ensure your fantastic music selection.

Inversions.  An in-depth training on the “how to” of getting upside down. Learning safety in coaching, assisting, and executing inversion through our fun “inversion” workshops.

Sequencing. Understand sequencing a class for success to include proper preparation moving through poses, as well as, prepping to introduce peak poses. Build your library of beautiful flows.

Mantras, Mudras, Dharma, and Kriyas.  Take a deep dive into these aspects of yoga and walk away with a full journal of ideas to include in your classes. This will further educate and motivate your students, as well as yourself.

Yoga Nidra.  Experience this yogic sleep practice that is an immensely powerful meditation technique.

The business of Yoga. Learn from the most experienced fitness and yoga studio owners in the industry. Our teachers and mentors will take you through a complete guide from finding a yoga space all the way to your opening and sustaining a successful yoga studio.

Restorative Yoga.  Experience the slowing down and opening of your body through passive stretching.

Sound Healing.  Journey into the power of musical frequencies and tones for mental and spiritual healing with vocal guidance.

Take a Personal Journey by daily journaling and self-awareness exercises to enhance your life and find joy in all that you do. Learn the art of giving and accepting feedback and enhance your own self development.

Meet the mentors.

Lori Lowell

Co-founder of Drishti Beats Yoga Teacher Training and Drishti Yoga Teacher Training Insitute has transformed her life’s work and experience in the Fitness and Wellness industry into a yoga teacher training platform unlike any other. In 2013, she began in earnest to focus on Yoga as her preferred path to elevating her physical and spiritual health. Becoming an E-RYT 500, she immersed herself into the development of a unique Yoga Teacher Training Model for other like-minded exercise enthusiasts who seek to become strong, competent and knowledgeable yoga teachers, no matter where they are in their yoga journey.

Jeremy Lowell

Having 30 years in the fitness/wellness and yoga industry Jeremy has taken the journey into yoga and has committed to a strong yoga practice and teaching practice.  A dentist by trade, Jeremy has been able to take his masterful care-taking and bedside manner and transform it into a mindful and caring yoga teaching practice. An E-RYT 500, he teaches his classes with a special delivery that gives students a clear understanding of position and breath while creating a comfortable space for which to practice.

Marianna Azzuro

Italian born, Marianna is an experienced Hot Yoga, Pilates, Barre Instructor and Ayurvedic deep tissue massage therapist and reiki practitioner based in London. She is trained in Power Yoga from Baron Baptiste and Ana Forrest School with one of the few gurus in Europe who helped her achieve a great knowledge of human anatomy as well as assisting and preventing injuries. Marianna is also trained in Yin Yoga having studied Sarah Power’s method which includes Buddhist meditation, Chinese medicine and psychology.

Alysia Lowell

Alysia completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with CorePower Yoga; with a focus on Power Vinyasa Yoga. She continued on her journey and completed her RYT-300  training with Kindness Yoga in 2017.  Some of her other trainings and passions are in Yin, Restorative, and Rocket Yoga. Alysia’s Vinyasa classes are fun, creative, and challenging. She playfully invites her students to try new things and to flow outside of their comfort zone with safe alignment.

Jeanne Custard

Irish born Jeanne Custard has a zest for fitness, yoga and mindfulness, shining brightly wherever you may find her teaching.   Teaching ‘standing room only’ fitness classes and Drishti Beats Yoga classes she never fails to deliver outstanding member experiences.    Students flock to wherever she may be teaching that day and she presents herself with grace and passion.  Jeanne is a vital partner and integral part of the Drishti Beats Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program.  She is an E-RYT 200 yoga teacher and holds many fitness certifications.

Ariel Lowell

Ariel, our  musical yoga goddess is also a successful business woman with her own spa who finds bliss living and painting by the beach in San Diego. With a degree in musical performing arts, Ariel composes and performs for the world using a sexy, laid back, yet raspy spice-infused voice. She writes and sings all vocals on the Drishti Beats tracks. Ariel is an accomplished Yoga instructor, having completed 200 hours of Raja Yoga Training in Costa Rica. She tours internationally with Drishti Beats and teaches Yoga in San Diego. She is here to guide you through beautiful flows.

Our self-paced virtual learning platform comes with several advantages that will enhance your yoga teacher training performance, and will ensure that you are on the right path to unlocking your true teaching potential.

Power to the student (you)

Some students might have a photographic memory and only need to skim through the material once, whereas others might need to review it a few times to truly understand the content. With our self-paced learning platform the time pressure that exists during live classrooms is lifted. Students that require more time no longer need to scramble through content and frantically scribble notes.

We respect your learning style

Students have different learning styles. While one student is just understanding the first sentence, another student could be almost finished with the task. Students who prefer to complete the material quickly will not have to wait for others. Conversely, there are some people who might prefer to review the material multiple times to improve their performance. With self-paced learning we make it possible for you to adapt your optimal pace is learning style throughout this journey.

Improves memory

Human memory is the process by which information and material is encoded, stored, and retrieved in the brain. Since students have no time pressure, their long-term memory of genuine understanding of ideas and concepts has been demonstrated to improve performance. The reason one decides to embark on a yoga teacher training journey, is not only to complete it as accurately as possible, but to also absorb the information that is given. We even argue that the latter is most important.

‘When do I have time for this?’ Self-paced learning makes it possible for students to structure their learning in their own time. There are no set deadlines is in our virtual yoga teacher training. Students decide for themselves when to continue. At the same time, staying engaged on a regular basis has been shown in all learning environments to be most optimal.
