- What is Asana? Asana means pose or posture. What makes any physical posture a yogic posture? Many of the postures we perform in yoga are also performed in areas of motion that have no spiritual touch, such as dance or acrobatics. For a posture to be considered an asana, it must be performed differently than any other physical activity. It must be balanced, relaxed and performed out of quiet consciousness, with a connection to breath and deep awareness. An asana does not insist that your yoga pose be perfect. Quite the contrary—it insists that your approach to the practice is what counts (Sutra 2.46).
- Teaching vinyasa flow. Understanding the essence of yoga. What are the essential steps for sequencing and leading a successful yoga class? How can you open students to proper and intelligent work with the body? Depending on the needs, which postures to choose, which postures to give up, how to maintain a proper balance in the time frame for exercises, breathing, and meditation.
- Find your authentic voice. We will help you become a masterful teacher, trainer, and inspirational yoga mentor. Learn different training techniques to ensure successful experiences for each and every student.
- Principles of observation, assisting and correcting.
- Teaching styles, instruction guidelines and the qualities of a teacher.
- Understand receiving and giving feedback.
- Learning modalities. Identifying your dominant style, and learn how to teach based on others’ learning styles. Understand the student learning process.
- Voice projection and floor presence.
With the help of CGI (computer generated imagery), we created an in-depth learning experience about the anatomy of the human body and its relation to yoga poses. Including clear explanations of the body’s functioning, inside and out. A better understanding of the anatomy surrounding each asana will not only improve your own practice, but is the building block of a strong yoga teacher.
- The development of yoga from the beginning of Patanjali’s yoga to the present day.
- Sanskrit (संस्कृत भाषा). Travel gently into the language of classical Hindu philosophy, and of historical texts of Buddhism and Jainism. Learn how to pronounce names of poses and bring the power of Sanskrit into your class.
- Yogic lifestyle. Take the journey by practicing, learning, and managing a daily personal journal of self-awareness to improve your life and find satisfaction in everything you do. Get feedback every step of the way to improve your self-development. Learn the art of giving, and serving by becoming a competent, knowledgeable, safe, and effective yoga teacher.
- Meditation. Learn various meditation techniques, and make your practice a daily habit.
- Pranayama. The yogic science for controlling and directing breathing patterns. You will learn about the source of breathing and the various forms of breathing we use in yoga. Proper pranayama produces peace of mind and allows concentration and clarity.
- Mantras, Mudras, Dharma and Krias. We will dive deep into the spirit of uplifting mantras and open the heart. To memorize mantras and use them to create a story or theme in a class enhances health effects and joy is created in every cell in the body. You can feel the effect of the practice, the reverberation of the healing sounds, immediately.
- The art of assisting. Acquire the practical knowledge of correcting student postures to achieve their proper form.
- Make progress. Get detailed personal feedback from the mentors as you journey through the training (all feedback is automatically saved to your account for life long access).
- Become The Teacher. Teach and observe others teaching in live group calls.
- Special populations. You will learn how to treat injuries and how to offer modifications to your students and to special populations.
- How to develop your career as a yoga teacher.
- Learn how to up your own studio, school or retreat centre. Our lead trainers have won over 40 awards during 25 years of serving the fitness and wellness industry in the United States. We will teach you everything from finding a suitable space for yoga to the opening and construction of a successful studio.
- Learn ethics in yoga business.
- Learn how to build your network with other yoga teachers.
- Learn the power of branding. Branding requires that your image and likeness – your logos, who you are and what you represent – are clear and aligned with your yogic mission.
We will help and guide you in creating the best playlist and music for your classes. Understanding how music impacts your classes, and how to create meaningful playlists, will enhance your student’s experience.

1. Can I really become a certified yoga teacher online?
Yes. All of our programs — 200-hour, 300-hour, and 500-hour — are Yoga Alliance approved and fully online. They include pre-recorded content, weekly live Zoom calls, one-on-one mentorship, and detailed assessments to prepare you to confidently teach in-person or online.
2. What’s the difference between the 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training?
The 200-hour training is the foundational course that certifies you to teach yoga as an RYT 200. The 300-hour is an advanced training for teachers who have already completed a 200-hour course. It builds on your skills with deeper study in anatomy, subtle body, sequencing, and philosophy, leading to the RYT 500 designation when combined.
3. Do I need to complete the 200-hour before enrolling in the 300-hour or 500-hour program?
Yes. The 300-hour course requires a 200-hour Yoga Alliance approved certification. If you choose the 500-hour option, you’ll begin with the 200-hour course and unlock the 300-hour once it's complete — all bundled at a discounted price.
4. How long do I have to complete the training?
There’s no deadline. All trainings — 200h, 300h, and the 30-hour CE course — are fully self-paced with lifetime access. You can move through the content at your own rhythm, with support available every step of the way.
5. How is the training delivered? Are there live classes?
Yes. Each course blends beautifully filmed video content with weekly live Zoom calls led by Lori, Jeremy, and our senior mentors. You’ll also have scheduled one-on-one calls for feedback, guidance, and mentorship throughout the journey.
6. Will I receive a Yoga Alliance-recognized certificate?
Absolutely. Upon completion of your 200h, 300h, or 500h training, you’ll receive an internationally recognized Yoga Alliance certificate. Our CE course also includes a 30-hour Yoga Alliance-compliant certificate for your continuing education requirements.
7. What is the cost of each training, and are there payment plans?
We offer flexible payment options for every course. The 200-hour training is $498, the 300-hour is $594, and the combined 500-hour is $897 — each available in multiple installments. The CE course is $239 or 3 payments of $79. No subscriptions, just lifetime access.
8. Can I take these courses even if I don’t want to teach?
Yes. Many students join to deepen their practice or understanding of yoga, even if they don’t plan to teach. The courses offer profound growth whether or not you pursue teaching professionally.
9. Is the CE course enough to meet my Yoga Alliance continuing education requirement?
Yes. The Evolving Yoga Teacher course fulfills all 30 CE hours across all four Yoga Alliance categories. You’ll receive a compliant certificate ready to upload to your Yoga Alliance dashboard.
10. What kind of support will I receive during the training?
Our team is available 7 days a week. You’ll receive group support through live Zoom calls, personal guidance via one-on-one calls, and lifetime access to our global Drishti Beats community inside the Village — a private online space for students and alumni.
11. Can I teach yoga internationally with a Drishti Beats certificate?
Yes. Drishti Beats is a Yoga Alliance–approved school. That means your certificate is globally recognized and accepted by studios, gyms, and online teaching platforms around the world.
12. What’s the difference between RYT 200, RYT 500, and CE hours?
RYT 200 is your first professional credential after completing a 200-hour training. RYT 500 is earned by completing both a 200h and a 300h training. CE hours refer to the 30 hours of continuing education required by Yoga Alliance every 3 years to maintain your registration.
13. What’s included in the 200-hour yoga teacher training curriculum?
You’ll learn yoga postures, sequencing, meditation, breathing techniques, anatomy, cueing, yoga philosophy, the business of yoga, and how to teach a full Vinyasa class. The training also includes a sound healing workshop, Restorative flow, and original music integration.
14. What’s included in the 300-hour advanced training curriculum?
The 300h program goes deeper into philosophy, sequencing, energetics, and advanced teaching. You'll study subtle body systems, Rocket & Mandala Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Restorative, Ayurveda, and more — plus three advanced workshops and one-on-one mentorship.
15. How is student progress evaluated?
Each chapter includes written homework and a video teaching assignment where you’ll lead part of a class. Your mentor provides detailed, personalized feedback, and unlocks the next chapter when you're ready. The goal is to help you grow confidently and skillfully.
16. Is there a deadline to complete my CE course?
Nope. The Evolving Yoga Teacher CE course includes lifetime access and no expiration. You can complete your 30 hours at your own pace, and revisit the lectures as often as you like.
17. How do I submit my CE hours to Yoga Alliance?
After completing the course, you’ll receive a downloadable certificate. Log in to your Yoga Alliance teacher dashboard, click “Add Training Hours,” upload the certificate, and you’re done — it takes just a few minutes.
18. Can I upgrade to the 500-hour path later?
Yes. If you complete our 200-hour or 300-hour separately, you can always come back to enroll in the remaining portion and receive your RYT 500. Many students choose this progressive path.
19. Are the training materials downloadable?
Yes. Each program includes a digital Student eBook (optimized for desktop, tablet, and phone), downloadable resources, journaling prompts, and the option to print your notes or highlight them digitally as you go.
20. What’s the refund policy?
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all training programs. If you’re not completely satisfied within your first week, simply reach out and we’ll take care of your refund with no hassle.
