How do I get to Bali? The airport to fly into is Denpasar, Bali. (DPS). It’s super easy but very long so get ready for an adventure. Flights can be found for as low as $900. Flights can also be found with one stop from the US. The earlier you shop the more you will find.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel? Once you have booked the training the hotel can arrange pick up for you for $35.00 per person. Simply email the hotel directly and they can arrange your pick-up — reservations.bali@komuneresorts.com
When you come out of customs a driver will be holding a poster with your name. It may take some time to find your driver as there are many pick-ups at the airport, but he will be there. Be patient and take your time in finding your driver.

What will the weather be like? It will be hot and humid. All areas of practice are shaded and some areas for practice are air conditioned. The fitness center is air conditioned as well. The weather is beautiful and very tropical but may take some time to acclimate if you are not used to humidity. The resort is on the water and the breeze is lovely. It is not buggy.

What are the rooms like? All rooms are air conditioned and very comfortable with fantastic bedding, sheets and pillows. Beautiful and roomy showers and sink areas and plenty of room to hang clothes and store suitcases. All rooms are priced in the garden courtyard area and are fantastic. If you want to upgrade to an ocean view with deck and pool right in front of your room facing the ocean that option is an extra cost and you must e mail the Komune Resort to request a upgrade. If you want to upgrade do it immediately as these rooms, go fast. You will not spend a lot of time in your room and the beachfront pool and dining area gives you plenty of ocean view time. What do I bring? It is very, very casual. Yoga clothes, shorts, tops and t shirts, sandals, sneakers, and all very light clothing. Sundresses and loose clothing are recommended for comfort. You will not need a jacket but always good to have a sweater especially for your travel. Bring a couple of bathing suits. Towels, soap and body lotion will be provided and all yoga gear but best to have your own mat. Be sure to pack sunscreen. You do not need any kind of special wall plug or converter. All of your phone and computer plugs will work at the resort. And the wifi is great. If you surf, the surf is excellent here. You may want to bring your own board if surfing is a priority. Keep your clothing simple. You can handwash and hang your clothes after practice.

What about the food? The options are huge and plenty of vegan plant-based options. You can get just about anything here. Be patient with the menu and take a few days to try some things until you find your favorites. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in the cost of the training. All rooms have small refrigerators with snacks at a cost. Coffee is everywhere to buy on the resort as well. There is not a coffee maker in the room but there is a pot to warm water and teas and coffee in the room. The resort has two restaurants, one near the beach and one where the gym and main yoga practice (Shala) is located.

Day trips and amenities: There will be many day trips and excursions to choose from for the couple days off. There is also a spa for full services as well as a lovely clothing boutique. You may book services once you arrive.
