With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the fitness world, our online yoga teacher training is by far the most in-depth RYT® 200 training ever made. It is the ultimate training for anyone who’s looking to become a knowledgeable yoga teacher, and develop strong yoga teaching skills.

The 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course covers:

What is Yoga? Understanding the essence of yoga, the discipline, which aims to bring the practitioner into a state where she or he experiences supreme happiness, unity, and transcendence of the body and mind. A state created by releasing limitations and pains on the physical, emotional and mental levels, and therefore the exercise addresses the complex – mental body. Yoga = Union. Yoga is a living and dynamic doctrine that changes and adapts not only for different practitioners but also for different periods, especially in our present era.

Teaching vinyasa classes. What are the essential steps for sequencing and leading a successful yoga class? How can we open students to proper and intelligent work with the body? Depending on the needs, which postures to choose, which postures to give up, how to maintain a proper balance in the time frame for exercises, breathing, and meditation. Sometimes we choose a theme where we chooses poses and flow to accentuate the theme or Dharma (the path) of the class. Vinyasa means to place something in a specific way. Vinyasa Flow means postures or placement of poses with flowing movement connecting the movement to breath.

What is Asana? Asana means pose or posture. What makes any physical posture a yogic posture? Many of the postures we perform in yoga are also performed in areas of motion that have no spiritual touch, such as dance or acrobatics. For a posture to be considered an asana, it must be performed differently than any other physical activity. It must be balanced, relaxed and performed out of quiet consciousness, with a connection to breath and deep awareness. An asana does not insist that your yoga pose be perfect. Quite the contrary—it insists that your approach to the practice is what counts (Sutra 2.46).

Pranayama, our breath. the yogic science for controlling and directing breathing patterns. We will learn about the source of breathing and the various forms of breathing we use in yoga. Proper pranayama produces peace of mind and allows concentration and clarity. This practice has many beneficial effects, among them, maintaining proper health, relieving stress and enhancing a sense of calm and peace of mind.

Sanskrit. Learn the language of yoga and the proper Sanskrit pronunciation for every pose covered in this training. Travel gently in learning how to pronounce and bring the power of Sanskrit into your class. Ultimately teaching your students to learn the names of poses in Sanskrit.

Meditation. Learn various meditation techniques, and make practice a daily habit.

The philosophy and history of yoga. The development of yoga from the beginning of Patanjali’s yoga to the present day.

The essence of asanas in the authentic yogic texts, which are often written in twilight language, or in what the tradition calls Sandhya Bhasha (sandhya is the Bangla word for ‘dusk’) – a figurative and symbolic language of imagery that reveals itself to the practitioner as he or she progresses in their yogic way.

Anatomy and Physiology. We see great importance in studying the anatomy and physiology of yoga. Over the years, we have created unique ways to pass on knowledge and help our trainees deepen their knowledge in the important and engaging curriculum that makes up the Yoga Teacher Training. No complicated explanations or daunting medical terms that will make your forehead shrink. Instead, with the help of CGI, we created an in-depth learning experience about the anatomy of the human body and its relation to yoga poses. Including clear explanations of the body’s functioning, inside and out. A better understanding of the anatomy surrounding each asana will not only improve your own practice, but is the building block of strong yoga teacher.

We will learn how to treat injuries and how to offer modifications to your students and to special populations.

The art of Assist. Acquire the practical knowledge of correcting student postures to achieve their proper form.

Become a mentor. Learn the skills to become a teacher, trainer, and inspirational yoga mentor. Learn different training techniques to ensure successful experiences for each and every student.

Music. We will help and guide you in creating the best playlist and music for your classes. Understanding how music impacts, and how to create meaningful playlists, will enhance your students’ practice experience. Because different people absorb and internalize information in different ways, we give our students many different tools to teach in diverse ways, all to achieve the desired results.

Inversions. Headstand, handstand, forearm stand, and shoulder-stand. The art of holding on and letting go. Learn proper technique for balance, strength, and body control, which demonstrate the application of force from different areas of the body. Our workshop on inversions is to help our students understand the fundamentals of inversions. The execution of inversions is not a requirement to graduate.

How to build a sequence of poses for a yoga class. If specific asanas (poses) are the vocabulary of yoga, the sequence of practice and the proper connection between them are the ones that tell the sentences and build the entire yoga story. During the course you will learn how to choose the story you want to tell your students, a story that is essentially all about them. Learn how to make a yoga class feel like a song. Build your class library with accurate, fun, and inspiring classes.

Mantras, Mudras, Dharma and Krias. We will dive deep into the spirit of uplifting mantras and open the heart. To memorize mantras and use them to create a story or theme in a class enhances health effects and joy is created in every cell in the body. You can feel the effect of the practice, the reverberation of the healing sounds, immediately.

Yoga Nidra. The relaxation technique achieved by the concentration of recognition at one point. Yoga Nidra is a practice derived from ancient tantric techniques and aims to balance and strengthen the body’s systems: physical, mental and emotional.

The business of yoga. Come learn from the owners of 10 most experienced yoga gyms and studios in the industry. Our teachers and mentors have won over 40 awards during 25 years of Fitness and Wellness in the United States, and will teach you everything from finding a suitable space for yoga to the opening and construction of a successful studio.

Restorative and Yin yoga. Yoga as a therapeutic means of restoring and restoring balance to the body. Experience slowing down and opening your body through passive stretches.

Healing through sound. A journey to discover the power of frequencies and musical tones for mental and spiritual healing with voice guidance. Working with the energy in the voice allows for a gentle and pleasant way to free yourself from physical and emotional pain and real healing.

Take the journey by practicing, learning, and managing a daily personal journal of self-awareness to improve your life and find satisfaction in everything you do. — Luca Callini, Project Manager and Test Director at NASA & National Trainer/Presenter – BODYPUMP™ and BODYFLOW® at Les Mills US

" I have been teaching mind/body classes for over 7 years and I had found that I wanted to deepen my knowledge of yoga to be able to bring more to my participants: more “why” behind the movements, more history behind this ancient practice, and just in general more authenticity.  For quite a while now, I have been looking for a 200 hr yoga teacher training program.  There are seemingly many options out there, but for someone with a full time career and a family, while still teaching classes and training group fitness instructors around the country, many of those options turned out to be unfeasible due to the intense time commitment required for in-person workshops: I simply couldn’t (and didn’t want to) put my life on hold for weeks as it would throw off my life/work balance, which is one of my most important values.  Enter Drishti Beats yoga teacher training: an online program that I can go through at my own pace, which also means I can go back and review the material as many times as I like, especially when work or life force me to take a little longer break in between my practices.  Just like yoga, I am never ahead or behind: I am exactly where I need to be in the moment.  Even in just a few weeks, I feel like I have gained so much knowledge on the “why” of poses and sequences – and I have been able to immediately apply that in my classes.  Also, it’s a deeply music-based program and as a former choir singer I am extremely musical and this aspect appealed to me, as the classes I teach make prominent use of music. "

"I feel so grateful to have had Drishti Beats recommended to me at the time it was, and it has been one of the times in my life where I have been blessed to feel like I am truly in the right place and doing the right thing… I could say I feel as though I am following my true north, my Svadharma..."  ~ Read More

Why us?

Our self-paced virtual learning platform comes with several advantages that will enhance your yoga teacher training performance, and will ensure that you are on the right path to unlocking your true teaching potential.

Power to the student (you)

Some students might have a photographic memory and only need to skim through the material once, whereas others might need to review it a few times to truly understand the content. With our self-paced learning platform the time pressure that exists during live classrooms is lifted. Students that require more time no longer need to scramble through content and frantically scribble notes.

We respect your learning style

Students have different learning styles. While one student is just understanding the first sentence, another student could be almost finished with the task. Students who prefer to complete the material quickly will not have to wait for others. Conversely, there are some people who might prefer to review the material multiple times to improve their performance. With self-paced learning we make it possible for you to adapt your optimal pace is learning style throughout this journey.

Improves memory

Human memory is the process by which information and material is encoded, stored, and retrieved in the brain. Since students have no time pressure, their long-term memory of genuine understanding of ideas and concepts has been demonstrated to improve performance. The reason one decides to embark on a yoga teacher training journey, is not only to complete it as accurately as possible, but to also absorb the information that is given. We even argue that the latter is most important.

You make the schedule

‘When do I have time for this?’ Self-paced learning makes it possible for students to structure their learning in their own time. There are no set deadlines is in our virtual yoga teacher training. Students decide for themselves when to continue. At the same time, staying engaged on a regular basis has been shown in all learning environments to be most optimal.
